Sleep is a necessity. It plays a vital role in our overall health and well-being. Children need it to grow, need it to develop & need it to thrive. The younger they are the more rapidly this happens so the earlier they build good sleep patterns the better.

By you creating a solid sleep foundation, you have given them a wonderful life skill that they will carry through their lives.

Also fundamental in nurturing a child is their surrounding environment and the energy, love and care that fills it. If you are reading this the chances are that in these early years - you are- this environment.

It is equally important for both your child and your family’s well-being that you are fully functioning, happy and enjoying these special years and we are here to make that happen.

Growing up, identical twin sisters, on a small holding in a rural alpine town, our routine was predictable – early nights,  early breakfast, full, active, working days, lunch at lunch time, that sort of thing. A consistent routine is something we have continued through our adult lives and has always come very naturally.

This is what make us different. We did not set out on the parenting journey like many others in that we struggled with our little ones, seeked help and turned things around. Not to be mistaken, we have 5 kids between us and it was certainly not all sunflowers and rainbows, but establishing routine for our little ones came fairly naturally and had them sleeping through the night from a very early age.

After helping our families, friends and friends of friends and seeing many parents reaching out for help, we realized that we could really make a positive impact on the lives of young families.

We started Oh My Sleep to do just that, and to do it in a loving, natural, motherly way as we did for our beautiful kids.

“What a good many people don’t realize is that babies need parents’ direction to establish proper sleep habits. In fact, the reason so-called sleep problems are common is because so many parents don’t realize that they, not their babies, must control bedtime.”
